Cooling towers Romania

Libert Paints delivered the appropriate paints for the cooling towers in Romania. The reinforced concrete needed a paint system that resists to extreme humid conditions.  Libert proposed the impregnation primer Polysilco HS Universal: this universal primer ensures a good adherence. Thanks to the quick drying of this primer, the finishing coat Polyguard could be promptly applied.

Polyguard is a one-pack moisture curing polyurethane paint, pigmented with specific inert lamellar pigments. Thanks to the special lamellar structure of the pigmentation, a very tight paint film with excellent water and corrosion resistance is obtained. The inert pigmentation and the polyurethane binder also provide a high chemical resistance.

These properties make it possible to apply Polyguard as coal tar free alternative where normally coal tar products are used. Polyguard is especially recommended for immersion circumstances.
