Flint plates and claddings

TVH is an international player in the sales and distribution of forklift trucks, tower wagons, industrial in-plant vehicles and all related replacement parts. With more than 2400 employees, the TVH-group is a world market leader. In Belgium the head office of TVH is located in Waregem. To renovate the outside wall, which exists out of flint plates and claddings, TVH contacted their subcontractor IRIS, who has already painted several times with Libert Paints products.  Additional purpose was to respect the present overall look of the company.

Two different structures ask a specific solution

The outer wall, existing of claddings and flint, had to be uniformized with the existing TVH-look. Libert Paints offers the perfect solution.

First, a universal primer Hydroprim was applied on the flint. Hydroprim has proven more than once its excellent qualities: quick drying, odourless, universal water thinnable primer that impregnates, fixates and seals. Then, it was overpainted with Resacryl. This hiqh quality waterborne, fungicidal and algaecide, 100 % pure acrylic dispersion for outer walls is characterized by its very high outdoor resistance, wet scrub resistance, good water vapour permeability, very low water retention, very low film tension and good elasticity. The perfect solution for treating flint in the desired colour and for protection against all weather conditions in Belgium.

The sandwich panels were treated with Cryltane AC Primer as the adhesion was insured. Moreover, Cryltane AC Primer is a good anticorrosion primer based on zinc phosphate and the polyurethane resins ensure a good colour retention and no chalking.
