Libert Paints

Renovation of 64 Brussels subway stations requiring night work. Concrete and steel structures. Very dusty and greasy surfaces due to the air displacement of the passage of the metro trains. Walls covered by tags and graffiti. The high humidity level in the subground metro stations causes the formation of rust on the steel structures.

A preliminary study and high-performance R & D laboratory tests have enabled the company Belcolor to undertake painting work under the best conditions thanks to the Libert paint system:

• On not painted concrete: Aquafix/Hydroprim/Acrylon (2 coats).
• On already painted concrete: Hydroprim/Acrylon (2 coats).
• On steel: Polyfix/Cryltane DTS 20 in a RAL colour.
